Scholarships for John & Luke Williams!
We wanted to update you on the kids and how they're doing!
John will be in 4th grade and Luke will be in 2nd grade at St. John XXIII Catholic School. We are really excited for them to belong to a community of faith and be provided with a Catholic education that promotes academic excellence, quality of character, social responsibility, and spiritual growth all while becoming a living example of God's love for others.
In ways to lower their tuition fees, I've learned about the AZ tax credit program. If you didn't know already, Arizona gives you the choice of how your taxes are used. You can allocate state income tax dollars to create scholarships for kids like ours in private schools at no net cost to you. This is not a donation, but it's income taxes that we all have to pay anyhow. Feel free to watch the video at the bottom of this page which explains how this works.
Chuck and I are re-directing our income taxes to assist another family since we can't utilize it directly for John or Luke and would be so grateful if you'd do the same for us to lower their tuition fees.
2023 Tax Year
2024 Tax Year
Here's how it works:
- You can contribute online or print and fill out the form through April 15,2024 and mail it to STO4KIDZ with a check and recommend John or Luke Williams. You can take the tax credit even if you plan to file for an extension, as long as you contribute through April 15th, 2024.
- STO4KIDZ direct your contribution for scholarship to John Kennon Williams and Luke Robert Williams at St. John XXIII Catholic School.
- STO4KIDZ will email you a receipt for your taxes with instruction on how to claim your dollar-for-dollar tax credit.
You get 100% of it back as a credit; your Arizona tax liability is reduced dollar-for-dollar when you contribute to a school tuition organization like STO4KIDZ that in turn gives tuition scholarships to kids like ours in AZ private schools. This will have a huge impact on our ability to send John & Luke to St. John XXIII Catholic School.
This is such a win/win for taxpayers and families with school-age children. We would be so grateful if you would consider supporting John and Luke's private education in helping us to lower their tuition.
I know this can be a bit overwhelming. Please watch a very short video below that explains this amazing program, and contact me or Miriam at STO4KIDZ with any questions.
