Scholarships for John & Luke Williams!

Dear Friends,

We wanted to update you on the kids and how they're doing!

John is in 4th grade and Luke in 2nd grade at St. John XXIII Catholic School.  We are really excited for them to belong to a community of faith and be provided with a Catholic education that promotes academic excellence, quality of character, social responsibility, and spiritual growth all while becoming a living example of God's love for others.

In ways to lower their tuition fees, I've learned about the AZ tax credit program. If you didn't know already, Arizona gives you the choice of how your taxes are used. You can allocate state income tax dollars to create scholarships for kids like ours in private schools at no net cost to you. This is not a donation, but it's income taxes that we all have to pay anyhow. Feel free to watch the video at the bottom of this page which explains how this works.

Chuck and I are re-directing our income taxes to assist another family since we can't utilize it directly for John or Luke and would be so grateful if you'd do the same for us to lower their tuition fees.

When you file your 2024 or 2025 taxes, you can deduct your contribution from your Arizona state tax liability. This means if you owe taxes, your balance due will be reduced by the amount you contributed. If you're expecting a refund, your refund will increase by the same amount.

Two Opportunities to Contribute and Make a Difference

Maximum tax credit allowed OR your actual tax liabilities

2024 Tax Year

$2,910.00 - Filing Jointly/ Married
$1,459.00 - Filing Singly

2025 Tax Year

$3,062.00 - Filing Jointly/ Married
$1,527.00 - Filing Singly

This is a dollar-for-dollar tax credit, meaning there’s no extra cost to you. Whether you pay the state directly or contribute and claim the credit, the amount remains the same. The difference is that you have the power to decide—pay your taxes to the state or use them to support a child’s education.

**To make your contribution, please select the button at the end of this letter and kindly list Luke and John Williams at St. John XXIII Catholic School on your contribution form.  STO4KIDZ will email you a receipt for your taxes with instruction on how to claim your dollar-for-dollar tax credit.

On the other hand, if you'd like to make a "Charitable Donation", your donation is 100% tax-deductible as STO4KIDZ is also a 501(c)3, non-profit charitable organization.

If you have questions, please check out the video below. This link also provide additional support, or you can call us or the STO4KIDZ staff.

We're so greatful for your consideration!
