Scholarship for Jackelyn Portillo!

Hello friends,

my names is Jacquelyn Portillo from Alhambra Traditional School. I am so excited to have been accepted at Xavier College Preparatory. My dream is to become a medical doctor because my passion is to help people in life. Xavier College Preparatory will help me open up opportunities to not just make my dreams come true but be a well-educated person with the responsibilities I’m taught. Furthermore, this is why your dollar-for-dollar- tax credit contribution will help me achieve my goals for my future.

Arizona gives you the choice of how your taxes are used. You can allocate state income tax dollars to create scholarships for kids like ours in private schools at no cost to you. This is not a donation, but it's income taxes that we all have to pay anyhow. Feel free to watch the video at the bottom of the page which explains how this works.

Here is how it works: Arizona gives us taxpayers the choice of how our state taxes are used. You are able to redirect the taxes you are already liable for by making a contribution to a school tuition organization like  STO4KIDZ. This is not a donation. You get 100% of your contribution back as a credit: your Arizona tax liability is reduced dollar-for-dollar.  Please feel free to watch the video at the end of the page which explains how this works.

You can contribute online (through April 18) here. STO4KIDZ will email you a receipt for your taxes.

Here is the step-by-step how to contribute. The net cost to you is ZERO, but the benefit to our family is PRICELESS!
