Scholarship for Alex Gavigan!

Hello friends,

 

Alex started at True North Academy as a 5th grader in the Fall of 2022. Prior to finding this rare gem of a school, we had tried four different elementary school environments, none of which met Alex’s social-emotional needs. Ever since we joined this community, Alex has gained confidence, met amazing friends, and LOVES school. True North has changed our lives for the better and we are grateful every day!

 

In search of ways to lower Alex's tuition, we've learned about Arizona's dollar-for-dollar tax credit that allows us all (the taxpayers) to choose how our taxes are used by allocating state income tax dollars to create scholarships for kids like ours in private schools at no cost to participants. You are able to redirect the taxes you are already liable for by making a contribution to a school tuition organization like STO4KIDZ.  This is not a donation, but income taxes that we all have to pay anyhow. You get 100% of your contribution back as a credit: your Arizona tax liability is reduced dollar-for-dollar. This will have a huge impact on our ability to send Alex to a great school!

 

 

The net cost to you is ZERO, but the benefit to our family is PRICELESS! Everyone really does win! You can contribute online (through April 18) here. STO4KIDZ will email you a receipt for your taxes.
