Scholarship for Cort & RowanOstendorf!
Dear friends and family,
Cort is in his Junior year of high school at Brophy College Preparatory, and thriving, despite the challenges of attending school during a pandemic. He managed three sports schedules this fall, including JV and Varsity Football, and Varsity Hockey. In the midst of that, he managed to finish his Eagle Scout Community Service Project for Troop 41. He's now involved with the Key Club and fundraising for Project Thirst and other local communities charities. Rowan is accepted at Xavior College Prep. and is doing great.
As you may know, the state of Arizona allows its taxpayers to redirect a portion of their taxes towards charter and private education, at no out-of-pocket cost. This is not a donation; it's taxes we all must pay anyhow. In addition, there's a difference between charter-school and private-school tax credit contributions, and you can do both. (Arizona Tax Credits)
You get 100% of it back as credit; in other words, your Arizona tax liability is reduced dollar-for-dollar when you contribute to a school tuition organization (STO). We have chosen to work with STO4KIDZ.ORG. Your contribution will have a huge impact on our ability to continue sending Cort to this great school. You can watch a very short video below that explains this amazing program.
You can contribute online here through April 15, or print and fill out the form here and mail it in with a check. STO4KIDZ will email you a receipt for your taxes. You can take the tax credit even if you plan to file for an extension, as long as you contribute through April 15th.
If you are a non-Arizona residence and would like to help lower Cort's tuition, you can donate online here or print the donation form here mail it along with your check to STO4KIDZ. Your donation is 100% tax-deductible because STO4KIDZ is a 501(c)3, non-profit charitable organization.
We too are participating in this amazing tax credit program to help another student reduce his tuition, and would greatly appreciate it if you would consider redirecting your tax dollars and recommend Cort and Rowan Ostendorf.
