Scholarships for Cheyenne & Dillan!

Brunell-SCA-1

Hello Family and Friends,

Wow! What a year we had last year. Cheyenne and Dillan finished their first year at Scottsdale Christian Academy (SCA) and they thrived. Cheyenne finished the year as an honor roll student and Little Eagles SCA Cheerleader. She has entered 5th grade this year with a new level of excitement as she is singing on the worship team and testing out her athletic skills on the 5th-grade girls' volleyball team. Dillan finished last year as a top speller and reader in her class. This year Dillan is in 2nd grade and she is once again a top speller and is trying out for the Association of Christian Schools International Spelling Bee this fall. We are so proud of both our girls and are incredibly encouraged by the academic and spiritual growth we have seen in them through attending SCA.

In search of ways to reduce tuition, we learned the state of Arizona allows its taxpayers to allocate their income tax liabilities to create scholarships for private school students and receive a dollar-for-dollar tax credit by contributing to an organization like STO4KIDZ that acts as the intermediary, and they allocate funds to help with tuition fees. This is not a donation; it’s income taxes that we all must pay anyhow. It is truly a win-win outcome for the “taxpayer” and our children, “the students.”

The net cost to you is ZERO, but the benefit to our children is both meaningful and PRICELESS. Everyone really does win! You can take the tax credit even if you plan to file for an extension, as long as you contribute through April 15.  You can contribute here, STO4KIDZ will email you a receipt for your taxes with details on how to claim your tax credit.

Note: If you're a non-Arizona resident and would like to make a charitable donation to help us lower their tuition,  you can donate here or print the donation form here and mail it along with your check to STO4KIDZ. Your donation is 100% tax-deductible as STO4KIDZ is a 501(c)3, non-profit charitable organization.

Please take a moment to watch a short video at the bottom of this page that explains how it works. We will allocate our taxes to provide scholarships for another student because we cannot redirect it for our own children, and would be most grateful if you consider doing the same for our girls to help us lower their tuition at no out-of-pocket cost.

If you have any questions you can contact STO4KIDZ at 602.698.8855 or reach out to us.

Thank you so much for your consideration!
