Dear family and friends,

This fundraiser aims to create a scholarship for our daughter, Gesiebi Odu, who will be attending Xavier College Preparatory this Fall.

Gesiebi is passionate about pursuing a career in medicine, and we firmly believe that Xavier College Preparatory is the ideal place for her high school education.

In search of ways to lower her tuition we learned about  the Arizona tax credit program that allows taxpayers to choose how their state income tax dollars are used and get a dollar-for-dollar credit.  By contributing to STO4KIDZ, you’ll take the tax credit and Gesiebi will receive a scholarship to lower her tuition at (XCP) . Unlike a charitable deduction, which lowers taxable income, a tax credit directly reduces your state tax liability, which results in a larger refund or less owed taxes when you file.
