In compliance with the Arizona Revised Statutes A.R.S. 43-1603, all STOs (school tuition organizations) must report the amount and percentage of scholarships awarded to students with household incomes at 185% and 342.25% of the poverty level for the previous year.
Since our founding 7 years ago, STO4KIDZ has awarded $5,331,376.20 in scholarships to 4,108 students, helping Arizona families with tuition aid.

Fiscal Year 2024/25
Original Tuition Tax Credit Scholarships:
- 21.76% ($62,904) of scholarships were awarded to families earning up to 185% of the federal poverty level.
- 27.13% ($78,399) of scholarships were awarded to families earning between 185% and 342.25% of the federal poverty level.
Switcher/ Overflow Tuition Tax Credit Scholarships:
- 7.32% ($11,304) of scholarships were awarded to families earning up to 185% of the federal poverty level.
- 19.20% ($29,653) of scholarships were awarded to families earning between 185% and 342.25% of the federal poverty level.
Corporate Low-Income Tuition Tax Credit Scholarships:
- 35.48% ($77,819.24) of scholarships were awarded to families earning up to 185% of the federal poverty level.
- 64.52% ($141,519.02) of scholarships were awarded to families earning between 185% and 342.25% of the federal poverty level.
Corporate Disabled/ Displaced Tuition Tax Credit Scholarships:
- 100% ($5,720) of scholarships were awarded to families earning up to 185% of the federal poverty level.
- 0.00% of scholarships were awarded to families earning up to 185% of the federal poverty level.
Audited Financials
Arizona Revised Statute A.R.S. 43-1603 Subsection A requires every certified STO that receives over $1 million in contribution/donation to complete a financial audit conducted by an independent CPA. Once the audit is complete, STO4KIDZ submits a signed copy to the Arizona Department of Revenue.
